OHS Coordinator with AMK B+P certificate

We support projects within energy and construction, and have an immediate requirement for experienced HSE specialists within the mentioned industries. We are looking for someone with great stakeholder and people management skills with a passion for safety in projects.
Core responsibilities:
  • Technical or skilled craftsman background with practical construction site experience 
  • Certified Danish Occupational Health & Safety Coordinator (AMK B+P certificate) 
  • Strong hands-on experience with Danish Working Environment Authority (WEA - Arbejdstilsynet) regulations within the construction working environment 
  • Plan, coordinate and follow up on health and safety activities across all project phases, including risk assessments (APV) and safety plans (PSS)
  • Conduct regular site inspections, safety walks and toolbox talks, ensuring corrective actions are implemented and documented 
  • Promote, demonstrate and maintain a strong safety culture by leading by example on site 
  • Collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders to build a positive safety mindset and safe behavior 
  • Continuously stay updated on relevant working environment legislation, standards and industry best practices

For this role, we are looking for someone with the below experience:
  • Drawing up an overall plan for safety and health (“Plan for sikkerhed og sundhed”), supervision and follow-up 
  • Conducting and documenting safety rounds as well as attending relevant (safety) meetings 
  • As an Occupational Health & Safety coordinator you cooperate with HSE Managers at the main contractor and coordination with relevant stakeholders
  • Supervising access control and RUT (registration of foreign workers) 
  • Cultural development within the working environment and introducing new employees to the construction site 
  • Assessment of the nature of the work and working environment risks 
  • Planning and implementation of the client's initiatives with regards to safety, health and working environment 
  • Performing various written reports, case processing, investigation and follow-up on incidents
